I worked in Chatswood as part of the ‘Energy2U Alliance’ team which consisted of Aecom, Leighton Contractors & Powerserve. The alliance was set up by ‘Energy Australia’ to upgrade sub-stations across NSW. I worked in the ‘Building Structures’ team. My duties were to create the structural drawings for Leightons to build from. The projects generally consisted of:- Reinforced concrete slabs, Reinforced concrete walls, Reinforced concrete Pre-cast walls, Reinforced blockwork & Steel frames.

Construction methods included the following:- Steelwork, Timber flooring, Some Mezzanine Timber flooring, Holorib flooring, Timber roof upgrades plus remediation details throughout building.New Medical Centre, SheffordDesign & Build, Steel frame construction with external walls constructed in Block & Block, internal walls constructed in block & timber, ground floor slab & first floor PCU, higher level timber structure with octagonal pitched roof, reinforced concrete lift shaft base.YMCA LeicesterRemedial works to existing building converting into multi use accommodation & communal rooms, mainly utilising Steelwork & Timber. Additional mezzanine floors added.
