I have always loved growing plants and keeping a vegetable garden as a hobby and decided to open a nursery for rare ornamental trees and other types of plants. I realized that I had the space at my home and knew people in the industry that were local and willing to rent me space to grow trees at their nurseries as well.

I was one of the first 20 or so employees hired by Etix and started out in an entry level position setting up demonstrations of the software for the 2 sales people who were working at Etix at time. I worked my way up and within 3 years was negotiating contracts and closing deals. At the time I left I was working with music venues, large fairs and festivals of all kinds, theaters, museums and an assortment of smaller clients across multiple verticals. I developed a deep understanding of all aspects of the ticketing industry including and not limited to box office operations, and deployment and maintenance of ticket validation systems.
