Perform professional administrative duties related to assessing, planning, and evaluating performance improvement as well as day to day implementation of the QA/QI/UR programs at all Cornerstone programs at each program site. Review, evaluate, and conduct audits using established performance indicators for QA/QI/PI. Conduct and report on UR studies related to Admissions, Retentions, Discharges, and Extended Stays. Manage Incident Reporting for internal and external purposes. Interface with insurance companies and lawyers, as necessary. Manage PI initiatives to include the Cornerstone Staff Education and Training Program.

Provide strategic and tactical expertise, interpreting, developing and implementing the United Spinal Mission and enhancing the reputation of United Spinal Association among the professional and consumer communities. Served as Project Manager for the 2007 North American Spinal Cord Injury Conference & Disability Expo. Responsible for leading and planning the implementation strategies for the 53rd Annual American Paraplegia Society Conference, the 21st Annual American Association of Spinal Cord Injury Psychologists and Social Workers Conference, the 24th Annual American Association of Spinal Cord Injury Nurses Conference, the 3rd Annual Therapy Leadership Council Conference, & the 1st Consumer Conference & Disability Expo. Conceptualized the Peer Mentor Program, co-authored the Train-the-Trainer Manual, the Mentor Handbook and the Self-Management Planner. Trained prospective Peer-Mentor Trainers and Mentors. Conducted caregiver’s focus groups in preparation for development of Caregivers-Mentoring Program.

Provide administrative services to the American Paraplegia Society (APS), the American Association of Spinal Cord Injury Psychologists and Social Workers (AASCIPSW), and the American Association of Spinal Cord Injury Nurses (AASCIN). Managed the daily functioning of the APS, AASCIPSW and AASCIN. Insured continuity of monthly, quarterly and annual activities. Provided technical assistance to members of the Boards of Directors, Committee Chairs and Committee Members. Coordinated all aspects of the Annual Conferences. Managed the APS, AASCIPSW and AASCIN Research Program, Awards Program, Board of Director Nominations Process. Co-authored the Policy and Procedure Manual, Standards of Care, and Association/Society Position Statements.
