I recently separated voluntarily from the Marine Corps and I am in search of meaningful work in the DFW area. I was an Aviation Supply Specialist who worked in the Financial and Customer Support branches. In the financial area I helped manage multi-million dollar accounts as well as the daily tasks and bookkeeping skills it took to be organized. In the customer support area of my expertise I helped procure, manage, and order imperative non-aeronautical items through various vendors. I utilized non-standard processes that were bound by many federal rules and regulations while having to maintain customer relations with the vendors. I also have experience with being responsible for and in possession of various aircraft parts to support squadrons within the correct guidelines. This was while also being an important liaison between the squadron (customer) and our Aviation Supply Department (who I worked for) to translate terminology to accurately and efficiently provide critical thinking skills and solutions to complex problems. I also learned to enjoy volunteering and would love to work for a company who sees volunteering and giving back to the community. I volunteered 145 hours delivering packages to Marines across all of Camp Pendleton with my wife, Ashley. I used my own gas, put numerous miles on my personal vehicle, and gave time to ensure Marines got their packages from their loved ones every week. The most recent volunteer event was putting wreaths on graves at the Arlington Nation Cemetery for the Christmas Season once I was out of the Marine Corps.
