Taking responsibility for making lending decisions on credit applications received through our partners across numerous sectors including retail, motor, personal loans and credit card products. My role consists of performing customer due diligence and protecting the bank from exposure to bad debt. • Analysing customer documentation, including bank statements, pay slips • Assessing customers income and expenditure for affordability • Reviewing customer identity documents • Assisting with potential fraud investigations using CIFAS. • Liaising with account managers and clients providing a dedicated point of contact for all referral decisions. • Ensuring all underwriting decisions are compliant with any relevant regulatory requirements and internal lending policies
