Steve Squeri focuses his practice on the representation of individuals who are subjects or targets in antitrust and other federal criminal investigations and pro bono work representing individuals in asylum and related cases. Steve retired from the internationally renowned law firm of Jones Day at the end of 2018. Steve joined Jones Day in Cleveland after graduating from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1979. He was admitted to the partnership in January 1988 and retired from Jones Day after 38 years of litigating criminal and civil antitrust and other complex business cases. During that time, he represented U.S. and international clients in significant antitrust and other complex litigation matters in courts throughout the United States. Most recently, Steve represented a number of Japanese clients in criminal antitrust investigations conducted by the United States Justice Department and later in related civil litigation. Steve practiced at Jones Day for his entire legal career except for two years (2002-2004) when he served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of RE/MAX International in Denver, Colorado.
