•Responsible for all aspects of managing the office, reservations and reception. Accountable to the business owners. Duty management overseeing the restaurant and bar operations.•Actively increasing bedroom and conference/function sales through contact with corporate bookers and hotel booking agencies. Management of conferences, weddings, and other functions.•Devising and implementing procedures and ensuring they are followed.•Liaising with customers, suppliers, and all internal departments’ staff to ensure smooth running of the business and the best possible guest experience.•Customer facing position, dealing with escalated queries and complaints ensuring they are resolved to the satisfaction of the guest.•Responsible for reconciling daily takings, banking, customer and supplier accounts and paying wages using both Sage line 50 and Sage payroll. Maximising revenue through rate adjustments on booking agents websites (Laterooms.com, Booking.com) as well as cross selling the bar and restaurant to guests.
