Management of conferences, weddings, and other functions.•Devising and implementing procedures and ensuring they are followed.•Liaising with customers, suppliers, and all internal departments’ staff to ensure smooth running of the business and the best possible guest experience.•Customer facing position, dealing with escalated queries and complaints ensuring they are resolved to the satisfaction of the guest.•Responsible for reconciling daily takings, banking, customer and supplier accounts and paying wages using both Sage line 50 and Sage payroll. Maximising revenue through rate adjustments on booking agents websites (Laterooms.com, Booking.com) as well as cross selling the bar and restaurant to guests.
