I am a personable and determined economics graduate from the University of Leicester (UoL). During my undergraduate, my modules covered a range from advanced macroeconomics and game theory to a dissertation discussing medical marijuana laws and the Mexican cartels. It enabled me to develop a wide skillset with my communicational and analytical skills vastly improving. This complimented my undergraduate where I was able to achieve a First Class Honours as a result with 4 modules having the achieved grade being over 80%. Furthermore, this is where a passion for analytics and finance has stemmed from, an industry I wish to enter.I am not someone to shy away from new challenges, and try to embrace them as much as possible having been a house captain at my upper school, as well as being an official school representative for prospective parents and teachers. Upon my arrival to university, I was destined to make the most of opportunities presented where I became the business/economics editor for the UoL student magazine. I also became the diversity officer for the UoL Indian Society, where I bridged the gap between those wanting to join the society but not feeling in touch in the culture. University also gave me the chance to be a part of and lead the UoL Economics Society Football Team, UoL Futsal Team and Uol Law Society Football Team. After my degree, I had more to give but changed my approach and conducted an LLM in General Law to vary my education.I would also say I am determined, particularly in the face of academic adversity. During my A-levels, I struggled, not getting the grades I desired. However, with resolve, I was able to surpass my predicted grades and achieve quadruple B’s. Similar can be said for my university experience where me failing my first year led to more hard work the following years to achieve the first. This is not limited to academics when during my university experience, the UoL football team had a trial for 500 applicants and I was one of the 20 who got in.As for myself, I am an outgoing person who loves to be active and go out of their way to help something with whatever they may need, with sports being my forte. However, one can never outgrow the need for education and I am excited for what else to learn in my life.
