Responsibilities & Accountabilities:- Incident, problem and change management (ITIL V3)- 1st level mainframe support- 1st level unix & mid tier server support- Liaise with 2nd and 3rd line technical support, suppliers and 3rd party customers- Perform system health checks, fault logging and escalation- Compliance of risk and audit requirements- Adhere to service level agreements, internal and external- Maintaining awareness of changing trends and developments in the technology market- Design, test, implement, install and support hardware and software as required- Regularly review documentation, procedures and instructions, and update accordingly- Provide out of hours support and assist with projects where required- Bank and Insurance web site control - Training of less experienced operators- Time sheet management- MVS Mainframe operational control using the following products:o CA-7, OPC and Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) – Job scheduling packageso MVS/JES2 – Job entry subsystem commands/managemento CA-11 – Dataset catalogue managemento SDSF – Spool Display & Search Facility (previously used TSO)o DFHSM – Storage management with HACC – Robot managemento Omegamon – System monitoring toolso NSM(TNG) – Automation consoleo JCL – Mainframe job control language o CICS / DB2 / MQ – Commands & managemento Connect Direct, Xcom, FTP, Netview and TCPIP – File transfer controlo IPL – Perform Initial Program Loads of all LPAR's over a Sysplex via a HMCo HTML – Developer of departments homepageo Lotus Notes – Email cliento Service Centre – Incident, problem & change managemento Operational awareness of Tandem and AS400 o Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access and Power Point – (strong Excel)o REXX, XC OPSMVS – Automationo VTAM – Nodes, lines, FEP, NCP controlo CICS – Connections, terminals, databases and RACF access control o Web Based toolsets: HP Business Service Management, Site Confidence, Fog light.
