Upon my retirement from Northwestern Mutual, I formed Blufftop LLC to provide actuarial consulting and software development services focusing on principles-based valuation, measurement of risk, and enterprise-level financial modeling.
I have been active in several committees of the AAA over the last decade. Currently I am a member of the Financial Reporting Committee, and previously chaired the committee's International Accounting Standards Task Force. I have also participated in the development of principles-based life insurance reserving standards as a member of Reserve Work Groups.
