High School For Environmental Studies

This was my first placement in a high school setting as a student teacher. At this placement I co-taught with my cooperating teacher. Each day I would plan a different part of the lesson that complimented with the overall lessons that he choose. I would teach a part of the lesson each day and the rest of the time I spent observing teaching methods my sponsor teacher implemented to manage student behavior.

Simon Baruch Middle School

This was my first field placement as a student teacher. I worked at this school in the classroom with the cooperating teacher and by the end of the placement I was planning and implementing my own lessons, exams, and assignments. At the end of my experience I was also grading all student work as well as helping them with class assignments that I came up with.

I was a Teaching Assistant to my Spanish teacher's level 100 classes. I taught the students about Spanish culture and my semester abroad at Universitat de Barcelona. I also prepped students for exams and upcoming projects that the professor assigned. I held study groups and office hours for the students to attend.
