SIGNIFICANT PROJECTS:2010 - Successfully implemented remedial measures including 7 offsite and 3 onsite SEPs following a 2007 Consent Decree with DOJ, PADEP, and USEPA related to a fish kill as a result of a plant chemical discharge. 2005 - Successfully negotiated settlement of Natural Resources Damages claims with State of NJ for four affected sites. 2003 -Initiated an audit and compliance program for the transportation function.2002 - Negotiated the unprecedented permits with the City; Negotiated the first ever Removal Credits Wastewater Permit with NJDEP & Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority.2000 - Led the regulatory negotiation for the flexible addition of Rahway boiler capacity as well as soil remediation for MRL expansion (Small Scale Organic, Medium Scale Organic, and Building 800). 2000 -Assumed legal compliance counseling on OSHA and the worldwide Merck safety programs. .1997 - Led the successful strategy, negotiation, drafting, and advocacy for the landmark XL PSD Site Wide Air Permit for the Stonewall site. Drafted federal rule authorizing the permit. 40 CFR Parts 52, 60, 264, and 265. 1996 - Negotiated the first successful NOX Air Trade in the U.S.
