With the group Coil I recorded numerous albums and singles between 1985-1993.With Cyclobe, since 1999, I have recorded and released five albums: "Luminous Darkness", "The Visitors", "Paraparaparalellogrammatica", "Wounded Galaxies Tap at the Window" and "Sulphur-Tarot-Garden".Over the years I have recorded soundtrack music for films by Derek Jarman ("The Angelic Conversation"), George Barry ("Death Bed"), Ben Wheatley ("Down Terrace"), Peter De Rome ("Fire Island Kids" and others), Lucile Hadzihalilovic ("Evolution"), and for the documentary "Peter De Rome: Grandfather of Gay Porn" by Ethan Reid.I'm also an author and film historian specialising in horror, European art cinema, and 'off-mainstream' filmmaking. My books include "Beyond Terror, the films of Lucio Fulci", "The Eyeball Compendium", "Nightmare USA, the Untold Story of the Exploitation Independents" and "Murderous Passions, the Delirious Cinema of Jesús Franco". I have contributed (on and off camera) to numerous DVD and Blu-ray releases, as commentator, film historian and advocate of the unusual!
