Also served as the company's project manager while overseeing all development efforts cross-functionally.

Symbotic was formerly called CasePick Systems. I was hired as VP Hardware Engineering at CasePick when there were about a dozen people at the company in 2008. CasePick was acquired during my tenure and renamed to Symbotic. CasePick was a mobile robotic start-up in the order fulfillment/warehousing industry. Symbotic is now a public company with a market cap of $15B as of Q1 2023, utilizing the technology and IP that I helped create. Helped design, invent, and produce the first ‘shuttle’ based robotic order fulfillment system in the world. Provided leadership for the entire Hardware organization (Mechanical, Electrical and Controls Engineering groups), consisting of 35-40 engineers. Assisted with strategic planning of company direction. Led projects from the Market Requirements phase to Production. Instilled a passion in the Engineering organization for creative design, proactive problem solving, quality, high level of communication, and positive attitude.
