With 23 years of military officer experience I have been successful as a team leader, team member, and as an independent. I have vast experience in leadership, building and leading teams, and planning in operations and logistics. I have supervised and directly managed from 16 to over 250 individuals at a time. I am capable of working independently, as a member of a team, or as the team lead. With every assignment I have excelled by learning from the ground up, and growing into more difficult and challenging assignments. I have a broad spectrum of experience as a leader, educator, planner, operations manager, logistician, and director of operations. I have extensive experience in planning, operating, employing and logistically supporting movement and maneuver of both small and large fleets of vehicles. My education and classroom training over 24 years has displayed a willingness to learn both technical and non-technical skills required to accomplish a multitude of tasks and to continue to grow and advance as a professional.

Served as the senior advisor and team leader providing leadership and guidance to partnered foreign commanders and their staff leadership on matters of professional development, operational, logistical and tactical planning, and employment resulting in the foreign organization’s ability to operate independently for the first time in over 5 years.Served as an advisor, trainer, and mentor for foreign commanders on leadership techniques, troop welfare, discipline and the command and control of a unit and its subordinate companies.Lead, taught and mentored 4 classes of 12-16 graduate students in leadership, staff planning, writing, operations, tactics, logistics and unit training resulting in 100% of students graduating and the sustainment of the highest class average in the school over the last 18 months.Participated in workshops and training to improve skills and learn new methods for classroom instruction, and attended faculty meetings to brainstorm ideas and discuss methods for solving issues.Observed and evaluated student and large unit’s performance and development and provided appropriate feedback on areas of improvement increasing knowledge retention and overall performance. Developed objectives for lessons and projects, guides, and course materials in support of  curriculum and completed revised 15% of the total curriculum in order to align with changing doctrine.  Served as the MCAGCC Base All Marine Wrestling Coach from 2005 to 2006.

Provided oversight and analytical support to the Marine Corps' Deputy Commandant for all armor related issues to include doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, professional development, facilities and policy.Represented the Marine Corps’ armor community at the General Officer level conferences and boards, developing and presenting briefs and providing subject matter expertise on all armor related matters.Led a team in the development of the USMC armor community's resourcing priorities and aiming points, providing oversight and guidance on all armor related programs, resulting in the revision of armor doctrine and policies and a 15% increase in the organizational strength of armor in the Marine Corps. Served as the operational planning team lead for the development of an armor strategy for the tank and other heavy armor platforms in order to map out the future capabilities of the armor community and its platforms resulting in the fiscally responsible modernization of armor platforms, the reduction of excess armor in the Marine Corps.Served as the lead in the development and validation process of the Marine Corps’ system to generate forces for employment worldwide resulting in three different methods to employ forces that maximize unit readiness, maximize the Marine Corps’ total readiness, and optimize human resources across the deploying forces.Developed, prepared and supervised the execution of all the training programs, directives, tactical operations orders and field exercises of a 700 person unit and the subordinate elements resulting in the organization being found 100% ready for deployment worldwide in all evaluated domains.Served as the primary liaison to other Marine Corps units, other service components, and other members of the federal government outside the Department of Defense.

As the senior member of the organization, directly supervised and managed the administrative, logistical, and direct support of 70 employees and over 3000 trainees.Led organization, established business direction and actualized operational plans to meet goals resulting in achieving 100% of production goal three years in a row.Directed operational and training improvements to reduce knowledge gaps and eliminate workforce performance inefficiencies, and created an employee professional development program that resulted in 100% of the instructor staff attaining certification for their assigned field for the first time in 9 years and a roadmap for employee promotions.Devised strategic improvements to resolve issues and spearhead necessary operational updates yielding the complete revision of the standard operating procedures, the modernization of multiple programs, and the creation or complete revision of all the organizations policies thus reducing redundancies and maximizing productivity.   Ensured the proper maintenance, accountability and care of all the organization's facilities and equipment, recovered nearly $200 million dollars of previously unaccounted for materials and identified then replaced old and unsafe resources ranging anywhere from work gloves to 10 ton cranes.

Determined the requirements for the logistics and combat support of one of the most logistical demanding battalions in the Marine Corps maximizing the organization's readiness and ability to operate without logistical constraints.Developed a plan, coordinated, then supervised the redistribution of more than $100 million dollars of assets between subordinate commands safely and efficiently while cutting overall operations and maintenance costs in half.Coordinated with the battalion’s subordinate commanders in order to ensure the battalion support was tailored correctly and delivered promptly meeting their needs thus allowing each to operate unconstrained by fuel, maintenance parts, food and water.  Responsible for the maintenance of the facilities and the infrastructure, single handedly improved facilities maintenance at an unprecedented level in only 6 months. Planned, coordinated, and executed the embarkation of multiple subordinate organizations, their personnel and equipment, to and from combat operations overseas with no injuries, loss of equipment or delays in transportation.
