Service over several decades.Within the areas of software product management and software delivery roles, I have a career that started in retail store management before moving into IT businesses, initially as a software developer. I then progressed into presales support and implementation as a combined role. Business growth drove requirement for a product management function which I led, also managing a team. In this role I was responsible for managing the transition during the Y2K event. As my career has progressed the businesses I have worked within have become progressively larger as have the businesses we deal with. I have broad experience across retail business systems software, change control and distribution of changes. I have deep knowledge and expertise of the software technology required to efficiently operate shops and stores. Hardware experience as it relates. Also, a strong understanding of networking and integration requirements. During my career I developed broad experience across coding, testing, pre-sales and implementation.
