I received a Masters degree in Business Administration from Harvard University in June 1976 and a Bachelors of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M in May 1971. From 1972 to 1974, I was employed by Chevron Oil Company and Burmah Oil and Gas Company in Lafayette, Louisiana as a drilling engineer. From 1976 to 1981,I worked for Goldrus Drilling Company as executive vice president and chief operating officer and, from 1981 to 1990, I was chief executive officer of Reliant Drilling Company.I held various positions with Global Energy Development PLC and/or its predecessor companies since 1990, and currently I serves as vice chairman and operations director with Global Energy Development Plc. also a Member of SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers) and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas.Global Energy Development Plc explores and produces oil and gas in Latin America. The Group produces oil in Colombia and owns exploration sites in Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama sub sahara Africa and Peru.
