Responsible for preparation of weekly and periodic Profit & Loss (P&L), Gross Profit and Merchandising reports for executives and senior finance management of the West Division. Prepared additional reporting as requested.• Successfully and efficiently converted all P&L, Gross Profit and Merchandising reports from legacy Hyperion Essbase database program to use new Khalix Longview database reporting tool.• Developed curriculum and trained remainder of Financial Planning and Loss Prevention departments (8 people) to use the Longview software. • Continually updated all reporting for new accounts and departments.

Responsible for all weekly/periodic Public Sales reporting for the Lucerne Foods division of the company. Facilitated the annual Plant Recost process (Production and Sales Volumes, Plant Expenses, Labour and Overhead Rates, Unit Product Costs and Facility P&L Plan) and was responsible for the period end reporting and variance analysis for 6 of 12 production facilities.• Manufacturing facilities with many product types including Milk, Ice Cream, Cheese, Bread, Vegetable and Fruit Crops, Frozen and Tetra Juices, Powdered Drinks and Puddings, Spices, and a Sandwich Commissary.• Approximate 65% turnaround time reduction of the Plant Recost process through design and automation of a single all-encompassing template. Adopted by 12 facilities and allowed for ease of additional Planning scenarios related to new products and new public customers.• Blackmore Model – 99% turnaround time reduction of the Finished Goods revaluations process as required for changes in major commodity pricing (milk, flour, juice concentrate, etc). This was achieved through the design and automation of a template to take the process off-line and was adapted for use by 12 facilities in Canada and 20 in the United States. It was later incorporated into the Plant Recost model. • Information gathering to assist the VP Supply (Lucerne Foods) and Sobeys Finance with information for valuation and sale of 10 production facilities.

Partner and I created General Ledger and Retail Daily Sales Reporting Databases in Hyperion Essbase software. We also automated the retrieval and distribution of the associated reports.
