Key Responsibilities:● Manage key commercial aspects of projects including take off and call of material, as well as weekly and monthly costing, overseeing the procurement of materials, equipment and labour, conducting monthly progress evaluations, ensuring quality electrical standards and use of proper techniques, supervising and directing projects from inception to completion● Oversee onsite and offsite electrical activities to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations, selecting tools, materials and equipment, as well as tracking inventory, meeting contractual conditions of performance, reviewing work progress on a daily basis, also negotiating terms of agreements, and draft contracts● Conduct site inductions and meetings with Contractors, Clients and Project Managers, undertake and complete all Health & Safety and Company Policy paperwork, such as RAMS, toolbox talks on safety alerts, permits, ensure all supervisors were briefed on all aspects of the project along with subcontractors, also maintained schedules and company policies, and ensured Health & Safety were adhered to● Monitor sites regularly, conduct site safety checks and undertake tours of all areas continuously, ensure sites are as cost effective and safe as possible.● Compile detailed reports for clients and PM, containing pictures and descriptions, ensure all third parties are satisfied, sign off contractors’ work, ensure deliveries are ordered, also checked and followed budget procurement● Develop and manage a high performing team, continuously raising the bar and manage performance using best performance tools● Provide expert advice to colleagues on any issues that may ariseKey Achievements:● Supported the growth of the business to be able to take projects with values of up to £600,000● Currently managing three projects with values of £600,000, £350,000 & £280,000
