Family Centered Treatment Specialist
FCT is a targeted treatment modality that focuses on interactions between family members to produce change. Within this targeted treatment, FCT Clinicians address many competencies that relate to managing their children successfully at home. FCT Clinicians address areas such as; positive parenting skills, attachment injuries, trauma symptoms, decision-making, communication, managing behavioral concerns, addressing mental health needs, and age-appropriate structure. As an FCT Clinician I provide in-the-moment coaching to encourage and foster positive, sustainable change. This allows families to experience each other in new ways, which often increases confidence in their own abilities to enact change. While families are involved with FCT, they receive a minimum of two (2) multi-hour sessions per week as well as 24/7 on-call crisis support.
