Professional Footballer for 20 years at the highest level, playing for English Premier League clubs including, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Brighton & Hove Albion, Burnley & Stoke City, also taking part in two successful Championship promotion campaigns. Have represented Republic of Ireland, through from the Under 19s to Senior Team, with 50 caps for my country and appearing at two major European Championships. Throughout my career and due to my vast experience, I have become a natural leader and mentor to other professional footballers, as well as players at youth level. My passion for the sport of football has lead me to complete my UEFA B Licence and I’m currently working through my UEFA A Licence with the Football Association of Ireland and has also seen me participate voluntarily in the Burton Albion Academy for the past two seasons. Currently I hold the position of assistant manager at Brackley Town football club. My passion for football and life, positive mindset, ambition and never give up attitude has carried me throughout my career and I’m always keen to develop my own skill set within the football industry.
