The outcome is full or partial automation (attended and unattended) deployed via NICE software, the role also includes creating business cases, gathering key metrics, estimating the benefits and providing project costs and estimates.

Business/Systems Analyst working in the Capgemini Digital Delivery Group undertaking analysis for Application Programming Interfaces (API’s) that are required to interface between the HMRC Multi-channel Digital Tax Platform or Third Party software products and HMRC’s Head of Duty corporate systems. The role includes attendance at Discovery workshops, capturing project requirements, creating User Stories and documenting Confluence pages in addition to writing API specification using JSON and HTTP protocols. The role also involves supporting project scrum teams through Agile delivery sprints for all aspects of requirements.

Certified Business Architect working on a variety of projects using Pega technologies and platforms including 6.3 and 7.1 versions (often working in partnership with Pegasystems Inc). As a BA within a scrum team I was working closely with the product owner to elicit, capture and document requirements using the Pega toolset, participating in Sprint retrospectives, ‘show and tell’ sessions, Sprint planning and Sprint reviews. Requirements were elaborated and prioritised then managed via the product backlog; the functionality was delivered using Agile delivery methods, techniques and tools supported by Confluence and JIRA boards. I have also acted as proxy product owner writing Epics and User Stories on behalf of the product owner prioritising and refining the product backlog, estimating the work using the Pega estimating tool and defining the Minimum Viable Product for the first release in association with the project architect.In addition to my BA role I have also taken part in various leadership initiatives for estimating project work, Lean thinking, Communications, SharePoint, and representing the role of BA in defining the Delivery Group’s Software Engineering process and blueprint.
