I seek to improve society for all through my work and personal life. Barriers are only challenges to overcome, championed by strategic methodologies and collaboration. As CEO of a community foundation, we stretch the boundaries of philanthropy to build equity and value to each person. Early in my career, the discovery and success of requesting funds was easy when I believed in the cause. Starting with children and expanding to entire communities. My social meter seeks potential and an improved future. My philanthropic success began with fundraisers, annual campaigns, capital campaigns, and recruiting. During the Covid-19 crisis,we collaborated with our United Way and became the community leaders instilling reassurance, funding, and hope. I promote, train, and manage a self-managed team. My high performing teams, whether at work or civic endeavors will out perform a coercive managed team every time. There are few things which scare me; of course spiders and snakes, but public speaking, personal and business challenges are not included!
