Responsibility for and management of refurbishment and pack areas for high volume mobile phone returns operation to support H3G, the UK mobile network.• Indirect responsibility for up to70 staff including 1 Team Leader.• Responsible for preparing daily workloads and coordination of the daily allocation of work for production staff within the build, test and pack functions.• Lead shift start ups and daily communications to promote positive working environment and help motivate team in order to achieve high standards against aggressive KPIs.• Reporting against set KPI such as throughput, quality, TAT, average Refurb cost, etc.• Responsible for capacity planning and recruitment of staff within business area.• Coaching and mentoring of team leader through job shadowing.• Problem solving for general issues within production areas.• Direct liaison with planning to ensure set-up of workload for main refurbishment area.• Liaison with H3G client on concessions and or deviations from standard practices.• Focus on inventory control, TAT and aged WIP. Including coordination and execution of physical inventories on behalf of the client H3G.• Management of labour cost and P&L within area.
