Coordinator for the Texas “Vaccines for Children” program and an analyst for the “Adult Safety Net” program within the TDSHS Infectious Disease Control Unit. Primary responsibilities: planning, developing, and implementing the procurement and distribution of publicly funded vaccine across the state of Texas. Management of a 500-million-dollar operating budget pulled from multiple state and federal funding sources and fine-grained application of a variety of statistical and analytical models.Additional tasks: direct management of the state’s vaccination programs for both Rabies and Yellow Fever. Involved regular correspondence with Health Services departments across the state and coordination with public and private pharmacies, clinics, and individual physicians to manage and distribute state-regulated vaccination licenses.

Medspring is a primary care organization dedicated to providing affordable, quality, and direct medical attention to patients across twenty healthcare centers in Austin, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, and Boston.Primary Responsibilities, Clinical Resource Analyst: compiled and synthesized a variety of daily metrics to produce forecasting models related to patient volume, individual center and overall market volume distributions, and resultant resource allocation. Primary Responsibilities, Operations Coordinator: implemented and managed daily operational decisions based on self-derived forecasting models. This involved the daily coordination of all Medspring clinical personnel (including over 50 primary care physicians and more than 150 medical technicians), as well as the development of long-term strategies to maximize overall clinical efficiency.

Bread for the City is a community organization that provides comprehensive services – such as medical care, food, clothing, and social/legal services - to the greater D.C. community, with an emphasis on the city’s most vulnerable and underserved residents. Primary Responsibilities: managed a roster of over 230 individuals with varying degrees of functional impairment. Met with patients biweekly for in-person counseling appointments. Interfaced with colleagues in the Washington, DC Department of Mental Health, Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, and other various Core Services Agencies to direct care for and manage the daily needs of these at-risk patients.

Volunteer Position. Primary Responsibilities: navigated D.C. residents through the oft-complex process of finding and applying for affordable subsidized housing in the greater Washington, D.C. area. Led evening workshops involving client counseling, referral to alternative housing options, and database management.

Volunteer Position. Primary responsibilities: familiarize patients of the Bread for the City clinic with the wide array of free and low-cost medical, nutritional, and environmental healthcare services in the greater District of Columbia.
