Once the bulk of the systems were created I started to take on other responsibilities such as server and infrastructure management, however as software projects are organic in nature and are constantly in a state of flux I still have to manage any changes or additions such as blending the management systems of 2 companies and allow for multiple currencies, data merging, cross border documentation etc.Responsibilities:- Server management (Hypervisor/Vm's) daily checks for anti-virus, backups, data transfer, automatic emailing, SMS text messaging and replication health. Project management for all IT projects, including, implementation planning and execution and post-implementation support. Helpdesk management ensuring SLA’s are met. Desktop PC, Printer and Microsoft Office support. Network infrastructure support i.e. fault finding and correcting. Managing third party vendors Specifying and sourcing software, hardware and support contracts.
