I am an experienced Operations/Programme Director and General Manager whose career has focused on leading and growing major aerospace businesses, managing aircraft MRO operations, and achieving financial success. I work with senior stakeholders to define target operating models and the means to deliver efficiency improvements via the execution of clear programme plans with robust governance, to make the business vision a reality. I have substantial commercial and financial/P&L expertise, having held budgets exceeding $120M and negotiated contracts exceeding $1.5B.I was the Head of International Business for Marshall Aerospace (MA) and subsequently the Managing Director of Aernnova Engineering UK, part of the Spanish Group which designs and manufactures large aerostructures for Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer. My Aernnova P&L responsibilities included operational management, business development and commercial functions for all UK business engineering activities, plus support to Aernnova's sub-contract manufacturing in the UK.I currently worked for Musketeer Solutions delivering specialist engineering programmes and acting as their SME for aircraft structures. I am a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. My qualifications include a Mechanical Engineering BSc and Masters Degrees in Aircraft Design and Defence Studies.Before joining MA, I served in the RAF, retiring as a Group Captain, in 2006. My appointments included:- Hercules Integrated Project Team Leader and Type Airworthiness Authority, responsible for worldwide support of the C130 fleet- Chief Engineer, introducing the new C130J aircraft into RAF operational service- Officer Commanding Engineering Wing at RAF Brize Norton, with full responsibility for VC10 and Tristar (L1011) aircraft fleets-- Deputy Director of Airworthiness & Aircraft Structural Integrity
