I have transferred into the education sector current finishing my NQT year. Have an interest in progressing into education research in the future. Previously I have worked as an R&D Engineer in the manufacture of integrated photonic circuits. Prior to this, I successfully gained my doctorate after 4 years as a PhD student researching new technology developments in the field of single pixel cameras. I am greatly interested in imaging, communication optics and astronomy research where my focus is on practical application and prototype development of new systems. Personal interests are in photography, astro-photography and science outreach.
