Currently I am Senior Vice President, responsible for all new product development and innovation in North America My experience in Diageo has covered Spirts, Beers and Soft Drinks categories. Prior to working for Diageo I spent 7 years in the Boots group working in Marketing and Sales roles in the Over the Counter sector. I enjoy leading the creation of clear strategic frameworks, with consumers and customers at the heart of it and cycle quickly into delivery against that strategy. I have deep strategic marketing foundations and a strong track record in creating new products, brands and categories that have generated £100’s of millions of value for Diageo. Though my time in Diageo, I have developed a very broad and deep skill set across the creative world of marketing. I have also gained a strong understanding of the operational aspects of running a business, with a broad understanding of all functions. I am strong at problem solving and can quickly build, with clarity, clear solutions for action. With the above experience and capabilities I can organise transformational change very effectively, building organisations and process to solve against the most compelling problems and opportunities. I work at my best when I have something to lean in to, to give me an edge – a challenge, competitor or a problem. Within my teams, I give calm authority, strong decision making and take personal accountability.
