Stephen is an experienced investment advisor who specializes in developing and implementing workable solutions based on a variety of strong, proven investment and financial planning strategies and works closely with investment managers and insurance professionals to identify and implement the optimum financial plan for a wide variety of individual goals and requirements. Stephen holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 22, 62, 63 securities registrations, as well as all pertinent life and health insurance licenses. His career started in 1981 in Hartford, Connecticut, with Connecticut General, specializing in estate planning, business continuation, and executive benefits. In 1985, Stephen moved to Boston with New England Securities, adding a focus in portfolio allocation and private equity. He has successfully worked in the financial and insurance industry for more than 30 years now as an independent financial advisor. Stephen relocated to Palm Beach, Florida, more than 12 years ago and has been affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network® as an investment adviser represenative for more than 20 years. He has won numerous awards for outstanding achievement in financial planning. But his greatest achievement is helping his clients pursue financial security, meet their goals, and maintain many years of prosperous alliance with them. In 2013, Stephen was awarded with the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation from the Center of Fiduciary Studies™, the standards-setting body for fi360. The AIF® designation signifies specialized knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care. The designation is the culmination of a rigorous training program, which included a comprehensive, closed-book final examination under the supervision of a proctor, and agreement to abide by the Code of Ethics.
