About Stephen Whitehead

I am a seasoned program and project management/PMO leader. I help companies solve HR, employee benefits, operational, technology and financial business problems using an “agile project management-driven” approach to managing complex IT, financial and business projects.As a Vice President at Adeptiv Solutions, I created an effective project management office that integrated organizational strategy for a shared service organization with project execution, using custom developed project and portfolio management tools.Having worn several hats in my career -- VP of PM, CFO, CIO, Consultant and Controller, I have integrated multiple cross functional disciplines and teams with sound project management delivery practices and processes.I specialize in providing project management training and coaching to CEO’s and other senior leaders in HR, fInance, technology and operations as well as train business managers/professionals in how to be responsible for their own projects. A key passion of mine is helping CEO’s transform their firms into project centric businesses.The world of work as we know it is fast evolving with leadership being responsible for doing more with less. The demand for project management is increasing, but the funding for it is always a challenge. The solution is to teach the business to fish and enable them with PM knowledge, tools, resources and best practices.
