Stephen Wick is a tuba player with many years experience. He has played on hundreds of film scores from John Huston's 'The Man who would be KIng' in 1975 to films of the present day. He has also recorded with Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, Frank Zappa and Led Zeppelin amongst others. He is now Chairman of the highly successful Denis Wick Products which makes some of the finest accessories for brass players.

Alliance Mouthpieces were first developed in 2006, and the company was purchased by Denis Wick Products in 2013. They were initially developed for Besson brass instruments by Dr Roger Webster with advice from some of the leading brass players in the world, including James Gourlay, Steven Mead, Jamie Prophet and Lesley Howie.There is a range of nearly seventy different models including signature lines for Black Dyke Band’s solo cornet, Richard Marshall, LSO solo trumpet Philip Cobb, tenor horn superstar Owen Farr, euphonium virtuoso David Childs and internationally-famous tuba soloist Les Neish.The mouthpieces are all inspired by the British brass sound, and are engineered in England to the finest standards. The City of London Sinfonia (CLS) was founded in 1971 by the late Richard Hickox. Led by Stephen Layton (Artistic Director & Principal Conductor) and Michael Collins (Principal Conductor), the Orchestra has earned a reputation for strong, distinctive programming, outstanding performances and recordings, and a passion for music featuring the voice. Performing throughout the UK and abroad, CLS makes regular appearances at all the major London concert halls and venues, as well as St Paul's Cathedral and other venues in the City of London. It has been resident orchestra at the capital's popular Opera Holland Park since 2004 and holds a long-standing residency in High Wycombe, as well as being a regular guest at major UK festivals. In addition the Orchestra performs lively Crash, Bang, Wallop! family concerts offering young listeners an exciting and interactive introduction to classical music.
