I am currently a data scientist with formal training in Neuroscience and molecular genetics. Prior to this, I held a faculty appointment at Boston College. My topical areas of research specialization included: genetics, assay development, cell and molecular biology, behavior, developmental biology, genomics, and neurobiology. My data science portfolio includes data visualization and exploration, data management and curation, statistical analysis, ontologies, data frameworks, clinical data coding and scripting pipelines in R and Python (mostly the latter these days.)After decades of experience in the industry, I have grown into a role as a role as a strategic consultant. My clients have included most of the top pharma companies, as well as many small and mid-sized operations. My experience working with disease-oriented non-profits and government organizations have spurred more interest in high-social impact positions.
