I am a design and engineering professional with over 30 years’ experience within the industry – mainly within the materials handling and special purpose machinery sectors. My specialist area is design of special purpose handling machinery, conveyor & automation systems and the project management of such contracts.I have 16 years business experience at director / Partner level during which time I was responsible for all aspects of engineering, including Technical sales, Manufacture, Product range design, bespoke design and project engineering and was the company’s representative on Health and Safety matters, and implemented assessment procedures for CE documentation and CDM regulations. Since then I have been providing technical advice and design / project management services within this sector. The focus on the business is the Design and Management of bespoke handling equipment / conveyor systems. (anything that moves!) I have a network of suppliers to support the design and procurement process where necessary and am able to manage contracts from concept to completion.
