Contributing to multiple projects of national security interest such as:-GUIDE (Generative Unconstrained Intelligent Drug Engineering): DoD’s JPEO sponsored project with two other national labs ( LLNL and LANL) to leverage ML to engineer new and/or modify existing broad spectrum antibodies against viral pathogens of interest.-DTRA project developing protein to protein interaction (PPI) models to identify antibodies that neutralize viruses within one family and transfer learning to a new regression models that accurately predict PPI of antigen and antibody in a different virus family. -DTRA project developing blood brain barrier (BBB) penetrating bi-specific antibodies to target Alpha viruses (EEEV, VEEV, WEEV) and observing how CDR framework shuffling affects developability, function, and affinity maturation.
