Wind-down Project• Contracted by Evraz to decommission the IT systems of Evraz Highveld Steel. This included Backup of all systems, Recovery Documentation, Cancellation of Service Agreements, Consolidation/Simplification of infrastructure landscape to allow for basic services such as Email, Telephony, Network during the wind down period.• Consolidation of the infrastructure landscape included: 1. Migrating of on premise Exchange environment to Office 365 Exchange Online. 2. Migrating of on premise File Server data to Office 365 SharePoint Online. 3. Consolidation of current server roles to new Windows 2012 R2 Environment. 4. Upgrade of VMWare 5.0 to VMWare 5.5 to host new Windows 2012 R2 Environment.Structural Mill Start-up Project• Overseeing the day to day operations of the IT infrastructure team.
