With years of experience developing innovative and unique projects, accessing funding and meeting targets, I'm opening doors to help employees and future employees gain relevant skills and training to support their career and their employer.

Managing employment and skills portfolio for transport, enabling jobseekers including unemployed and economically inactive people to train and develop relevant skills to enable access to negotiated vacancies. I am responsible for developing strategic and delivery partnerships to enable job creation. I develop and coordinate training to ensure applicants and trainees are highly employable and will add value to Merseyside's transport sector. I am responsible for engaging with employers and training/education providers to coordinate quality provision to meet employer needs. This is a unique and innovative approach to employability and the use of government funding and has been seen as best practise in the sector and beyond.Recently awarded 2014 Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport– Best Practice in the Transport Sector Excellence and Education

- Working in a unique partnership between management and unions, I lead various projects gaining relevant vocational qualifications related to transport sector employment and training.- An integral part of the award winning Merseylearn team I was responsible for supporting Merseyside transport sector employees and employers to increase their skill levels. - By creating partnerships across the adult learning sector and by working with local authorities and employees.- Worked with Job Centre Plus and central government teams on the successful Future Jobs Fund project. Responsible for recruitment, placement and supporting the development of over 20 young people, with 60% maintaining sustained employment. I was responsible for budgets, engaging the support of third sector organisations from across the region and reporting to Liverpool City Region Employment team- I managed Merseytravel’s National Career Service contract, offering staff and unemployed people the opportunity to receive Information Advice and Guidance in personal development
