Responsible for the safe and cost-effective operation of the Brent and Ninian pipelines/ installation production and the West of Shetland/ East of Shetland Magnus enhanced oil recovery MEOR systems. (Foinaven, Glen Lyon, Clair, Clair Ridge Magnus platforms/ FPSO).Operate and manage ESD & FGS systems and associated cause and effects (C&E) to be able to respond to alarms in the appropriate manner. Monitor and oversee planned and unplanned shutdowns and associated start-ups via the central control panel ensuring plant and personnel safety at all times.Operating and monitoring the oil, gas, produced water and associated equipment (3 Phase separators, compressors, heat exchangers, Columns, HP/LP gas systems, Pig Station, Surge and flares). Safe isolation and de-isolation of plant using ISSOW (PA/IAP) is a major part of my daily workload (SIRPS compliant up to level 4).

I work as part of a 24 hour shift team that operate complex multi-functional equipment including, processing equipment (ultra-filtration and other separation rigs, Bio-reactors complex buffer make up systems) and all supporting equipment (Media Preparation systems, Media Sterilisation systems, CIP systems, drain systems, Solvent systems, nitrogen and Oxygen systems) in a Upstream and Downstream processing environment to manufacture chemical products.Also I operate and monitor all building utilities including, HVAC, water treatment systems, purified water distribution, chemical and water system, service system, clean steam generator, plant steam, chilled water and effluent treatment system using DCS and SCADA systems.I prepare integrated process systems for remote control operations and remote shutdowns isolate and reinstate all process plant services and equipment that require maintenance, including issuing and receiving all Permits relating to this maintenance.
