- I worked for 6 months as a contract Mechanical Design Engineer at Levolor, a Division of Newell Rubbermaid. Levolor was moving to Atlanta and I did not desire to persue my carreer in Atlanta.•Design Engineering – Analyzed parts using SolidWorks and Cosmos FEA software.•Research and Development Engineering – Lead feasibility project for possible cost savings.
