Procurement Manager
Current-Supervises purchasing team to procure goods and services ranging up to 40 projects simultaneously at different stages varying from $500,000 to $20 million in contract value.-Evaluates spending and analyzes buyouts while seeking for ways to improve constructability of materials purchased and the timeliness of deliveries.-Oversees selection of materials and services for best savings, payment terms, ease of constructability, and lead times.-Develops risk management strategies to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages, supply chain issues, or any possible obstacles that may affect construction productivity.-Manages material inventory and oversees inhouse inventory management team.-Establishes, executes, and tracks project plans by utilizing fundamental project management techniques.-Works closely with the company's financial, engineering, and estimating departments along with project managers to make sure contracts and terms are favorable.-Maintains relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors to provide the company with best possible pricing along with mitigating risk of supply chain issues.
