Flight Test Engineer - Functional Development
Responsible for the functional development of the Trent1000 TEN engine during the 787-10 Boeing aircraft & engine certification campaign in Seattle, WA. Implementing engine software updates, and creating software trim modifications. Liaising with Boeing ground and flight operations to arrange engine modifications. The technical representative during Boeing pre-flight / post-flight pilot briefs. Responsible for engine monitoring and fault investigation/resolution during the engine and aircraft flight tests. Later moved to Tucson, AZ to continue with the Trent1000 engine development testing on the RR Flying Test Bed (FTB). Responsible for creating and executing complex engine software modification trims during a series of flight tests. Being a technical representative for the engine control system during the Trent1000 engine recovery program.
