    Tcs Feb 2011 - May 2011
    Mumbai, Maharashtra, In
TCS is a global IT services, business solutions, and outsourcing company and a subsidiary of the Tata Group conglomerate. I joined TCS in a thought-leadership role for IT service management – to write provocative papers and present at industry events in support of TCS’s global brand awareness. However, the lack of suitable consultancy resource in my first three months meant that I was diverted to writing bid documents for large outsourcing contracts. Unfortunately, as this was not the best use of my skill set I chose to leave TCS for Forrester Research.

I authored the update to the report in 2011, but my name was removed from the final report due to my leaving Ovum.I conducted, and documented, Ovum Technology Audits (8-10 page capability summaries) of IT vendor solutions. I also wrote vendor white papers. As well as creating a wealth of IT Service Management-related content for subscribers, I also delivered research in person via publicly-attended Ovum Strategy Briefings, vendor-sponsored webinars, vendor and industry events, and subscriber and vendor calls.
