My job responsibilities includes delivering GREAT customer service by greeting customers, and ensuring a fast checkout. Also, I assist in running the Central Checkout operations with helping and developing partners. While not covering central checkout, I help run the store which includes receiving trucks, maintain stock levels, keeping up store conditions for customers and putting the store to bed by checking out all departments and informing the opening team about any issues.

As a Marketing Intern, my training consists of assisting the Director of Marketing for our region and Sr. Marketing Manager. I help review contracts, develop efficient and productive processes and brainstorm creative ideas to help the company move forward and stay unique. This internship is designed to give me exposure outside of stores and become well rounded overall with H-E-B.

This specific summer rotation, I focused on my last and final rotation, Service and Store Operations. This will be my final rotation to complete a total store training. During the summer, 5 other returning interns and I focused on the bag ban as a project. Coverage Leads help and assist store leaders run and operate the store. I helped communicate to all department managers for different tasks and "put the store to bed." While doing daily store tasks, I also delivered great customer service by dealing with any and all situations which happen at store level.

The Management Internship Program is 10-weeks long as you work and gain in-valuable experience to train and develop you into a store management position after college.
