Leader of the Africa Special Executive Course on Digital Innovation in Public Procurement, driving digital transformation in the public sector procurement landscape.

Led an 81-member multicultural team across 54 African countries, driving a year-long transformation in Procurement, Real Estate and Corporate Services. I managed the design and construction of a 2000-person Corporate HQ, developed strategic priorities, and promoted cross-functional collaboration to align with business objectives, enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, I implemented digital transformation initiatives, streamlined vendor management, and led cost-saving programs dispute negotiations, while representing the organisation at international conferences and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

As the leader of AECOM's NEOM transformative construction projects, I oversaw commercial operations and change initiatives aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and NEOM regulations. I led a multicultural team of 124 staff, optimising supplier and stakeholder relationships, driving cost reduction, and ensuring supply assurance across multiple mega-projects. Key achievements included implementing data-driven decision-making, promoting a culture where team members felt safe to voice opinions and solve problems, and transforming the commercial operations team into a high-performing unit recognised for its alignment with NEOM's strategic goals.NEOM: The world's largest and most ambitious construction program, spanning $500 billion in investment to create a sustainable, futuristic region redefining urban living and infrastructure.

As part of a six-person leadership team, I led a turnaround mission to transform Saudi Arabia's land, sea, and airport immigration, customs, real estate and infrastructure in a $1 billion project. The transformation involved diverse elements such as design, housing, solar power, technology, and operations. My primary focus was to apply project management and procurement expertise to ensure the project's success. Key achievements included strategic procurement leadership, cross-functional collaboration, market communication, stakeholder engagement, and our innovative procurement strategy being recognised as the "Infrastructure Project of the Year, 2021" by Construction Week.

For the UK Government's £29 billion global healthcare initiative, I led partnership growth and expanded operations. I applied strategic thinking and procurement policy expertise to maximise humanitarian impact, building effective partnerships with governments and NGOs in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Jordan and Myanmar. Notable projects included constructing a medical facility in Somaliland, implementing a solar-powered IT system country-wide in Ghana, and securing a reliable HIV/AIDS pharmaceutical supply chain in Malawi. I also managed fiscal and procurement oversight in Malawi and organised thought leadership events on value for money in international development.

I managed procurement packages for Jeddah's public transport projects, ensuring compliance with FIDIC contracts and focusing on supplier diversity, innovation and the entire tendering process.In addition, I provided subject matter expertise on public procurement during AECOM's bid for the DFID contract, successfully challenging the initial award decision, leading to a repeat tender process in which AECOM won, resulting in my transfer to lead procurement advisory.

Visiting Lecturer at one of the UK’s top universities, contributing to the Nuclear Engineering Doctorate and "Doctoral Prize" Elite Ph.D. programs. Additionally, academically published on Commercial Negotiation Skills.

I was responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities and later overseeing project delivery. I worked at one of the top procurement and supply chain consultancies, gaining extensive experience across the UK, USA and Europe. My focus was on procurement strategy, cost management, and process improvement for large corporates and UK Government Departments. I advised on procurement strategies, cost reduction initiatives, and contract disputes in areas such as real estate and facilities management. Over time, I became a subject matter expert in procurement and commercial advantage. Key achievements included advising the Department for International Development on St Helena airport construction, creating Deutsche Bank's global procurement playbook, and developing an award-winning stakeholder engagement program for the London 2012 Olympics. I also provided advisory support to the UK Government's signal intelligence agency and led a major contract negotiation for TNK-BP Switzerland.
