In addition to my construction experience and degree in Construction Management I have a diverse and adaptable technical skill set including experience with programming, database management and IT infrastructure.

I am using my background in programming and IT to expedite the creation of the large sets of data needed to power and run the software. Oversaw the IT department, including server administration, network design and maintenance, security, PCI compliance, hardware procurement and provisioning, and desktop support. My contributions in these areas included decreasing operational costs while increasing network and server uptime. I also provided substantial assistance in coordinating tenant improvements and remodeling for the company’s new offices.Other positions with Complete Merchant Solutions included database analyst and assistant project manager. As such, I led projects to capture and analyze data on $500+ Million in annual transactions allowing management to prevent fraud, manage risk and capture tens of thousands of dollars in lost monthly revenue.

Oversaw multiple tenant improvement (TI) construction projects in various Class A office environments. Worked directly with clients, subcontractors, property managers and architects. Was responsible for scheduling work, assuring quality, coordinating permits and inspections, and verifying that work was completed safely, on time, according to specifications, within budget and with minimal impact on existing tenants.

Worked with school and athletics officials to restructure Cougar United, BYU’s official student-fan association. In a matter of months, the initiatives I organized transformed a budget deficit of tens of thousands of dollars into a budget surplus totaling tens of thousands of dollars. Created a loyalty incentives program that resulted in increased student participation at athletic events. Oversaw communications, publicity, and marketing, and helped grow the organization from 500 to 2000 members.

Responsible for design, programming, and maintenance of the Construction Management program's website. Redesigned the website, providing a new appearance that is consistent with the University’s website. Created a system to allow secretaries, faculty, and club presidency members to contribute content to the website.

Updated company estimating practices including implementation of computer aided takeoff and estimating tools. Efforts allowed for more accurate tracking of historical costs and resulted in increased accuracy and decreased bid preparation time.

Led a crew of 5-10 construction laborers in framing and other custom residential construction. Responsible for reading and interpreting plans and construction documents to verify that construction met specifications and schedules.
