I established Allegra to provide business transformation advisory services, leveraging earlier senior leadership career guiding major global business change at companies including TUI Travel/Hotelbeds, Brightpoint (now Ingram Micro) and Impress (now part of Ardagh Glass). Recent key projects include: ☛GCCL: Engaged to review & improve F&A processes, identifying and implementing immediate quick hits exceeding €250k & enabling longer term benefits planned to exceed €5m in total.☛Global Photo Technology Enterprise: Engaged to bring Shared Service implementation back on track, to ensure the centre was operating in Gdansk on time with full initial target staffing in place.

Following the successful separation of HBG and TUI entities, the RESET programme was revived and expanded to drive HBG’s business optimisation. I was responsible for the redesign and new structure of existing business entities in all countries where Hotelbeds Group has legal presence or operates.

In this role, I worked with the senior team to restructure bedbank and related businesses following the merger with TUI AG announced in 2014 for completion in Q4 2015. I was responsible for separation of TUI AG and Hotelbeds Group business lines into separate legal entity structures in preparation for sale of Hotelbeds Group. This was delivered on schedule involving 13 new entities with 35k contracts changed and 70k bookings migrated.

I was responsible for the strategic design and implementation of global restructuring programme to strengthen alignment between commercial, management and statutory structures, covering more than 40 entities. As Chair and a member of functional and strategic Steering Committees, I ensured tactical implementation decisions aligned with overall strategy and long-term goals

I was hired to develop and deliver overall strategy to implement global shared service organisation with total staffing of 425 employees in 3 centres managed by regional Heads of FSSC, reporting to GFSS Director. I subsequently led handover over to the GFS Operations Director.

Barcelona, Spain

I was hired to lead an 18-month project to implement shared service centre in Barcelona. I successfully planned and managed transition of 12 major country-based operations and 9 administrative and dormant/discontinued entities into Shared Services in line with a revised go live schedule, and significantly improved Month End Close and Balance Sheet Review scorecards which were below par before engagement.
