Providing consulting services to private and public organizations in renewable energy research, policy, and development. Current areas of focus include renewable energy at airports, marine hydrokinetic test sites and pilot projects, wind energy development, and net zero energy evaluations.

I am a member of the Board of Directors of the Environmental Business Council of New England (EBC), a non-profit organization established to support and foster the development of the environmental and energy industry. I am also chair of EBC's Energy and Renewables Committee which meets monthly to discuss renewable energy issues in New England.

Working with the United Nations International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to implement its project "Transforming the Global Aviation Sector: Emissions Reductions from International Aviation" by producing regulatory and financing guidance for renewable energy and emission reduction. Serving as ICAO's technical adviser on two pilot projects to construct solar photovoltaic facilities, pre-conditioned air and ground power units to convert aircraft power at the gate from jet fuel to clean electricity. Helping ICAO staff to select pilot airport sites and to procure materials and services to complete the projects.

Minuteman Wind is a New England-based wind energy development company. The company is developing a 12.5 MW wind farm in the Berkshires town of Savoy. As Vice President of Environmental, I have overseen all environmental studies associated with project including acoustic, avian, wetlands, rare species, and shadow flicker. I have also led the permitting process and have secured the Secretary's MEPA Certificate, FAA No Hazard Determination, Natural Heritage Review, and Town Special Permit.

I manage HMMH's Climate and Energy Practice which provides clean energy and air quality services to clients in the energy and transportation sectors. My technical focus is on communicating the opportunity of renewable energy to the aviation industry and facilitating the work of clean energy companies seeking to work at airports. I speak regularly about renewable energy at aviation conferences focusing on benefits of third party ownership structures and tax exempt financing alternatives. In addition, I advise solar energy companies constructing projects on airport property. I also work with our leadership team in marketing the firm's air quality expertise to airport and surface transportation clients and acoustical services to the wind and solar energy sectors. I am also active in the marine renewable energy area and have worked on a number of wave and tidal energy demonstration projects in New England.

BlueWave Strategies works as an advisor and, in some cases, as an equity partner on a wide range of environmentally complex projects, with a focus on real estate development and renewable energy ventures. As Director, I managed the business affairs of this 5 person consulting firm and served clients in the areas of renewable energy and sustainable development.

Epsilon Associates, Inc. provides environmental management and permitting services to real estate, energy, industrial and public sector clients. As a Senior Consultant, I managed permitting of energy and infrastructure projects, and secured regulatory approvals under federal, state, and local jurisdictions.

Appointed by Board of Selectmen to Town Board responsible for administering the MA Wetlands Protection Act and Town Wetlands Bylaw. Reviewed applications for work in wetland resource areas and buffer zones. Helped draft town wetlands bylaw. Managed update to the Town's Open Space Plan. Presented four articles at town meeting for acquisition of town conservation land, all of which were approved adding approximately 150 acres of protected land to the town's conservation network.

The Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) is a part of the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA). Its mission is to balance the impacts of human activity with the protection of coastal and marine resources. At CZM, I managed two water quality grant programs, and provided technical support for CZM's review of proposed development projects subject to the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act.
