Initially worked in this position for CodeGear who were acquired by Embarcadero in 2008.- Developed Sqlite and generic ODBC database drivers- Developed features such as API analytics for a middleware server that hosts loadable custom modules- Added support for new database features in database drivers that allowed connectivity to SQL Anywhere (ODBC), Sybase (Sybase Open Client Library), DB2 (DB2Cli), Firebird, InterBase, Informix (ESQL/C), MSSQL (SQL Native Client), MySql (MySql C), Oracle (OCI)- Enabled support for new platforms such as Mac OS X, iOS, and Android for runtime libraries and data access component frameworks that support relational databases, Amazon SQS, Amazon S3, Amazon SimpleDB and Azure cloud services- Perform code reviews and mentor other team members. Assist in coordinating tasks with international team. Provide leadership and drive infrastructure development. Task R&D, QA, and Documentation teams- Provide analytics information on product usage to different stakeholders across the organization- Integrate code from open source projects and send modifications back to open source project teams- Resolve customer escalations and construct custom hot fixes- Flew to Spain to train new QA hires in best practices and technologies- Manage code using Subversion primarily and acquire some source using Git. Participate in Agile Development SCRUMs and track work using Jira- Write unit tests to validate code using DUnit and DUnitX. Review QA team test plans- Create and maintain MSBuild scripts to build newly developed code- Create Jenkins, Hudson, and Cruise Control .NET jobs to run automated builds and unit tests which run on VMWare virtual machines. Frequently review results to ensure no regressions- Create demos for marketing- Document all APIs and provide information on new features to the documentation team on Confluence
