I leverage my clinical background to learn, educate and collaborate with HCPs while being a resource to help them make informed clinical and research decisions for breast cancer patients. My work as a leader in community engagement and partnerships involves unifying organizations with a shared mission to collaborate on impactful initiatives across various industries in STEM, healthcare,sports, and non-profits. Sickle cell is how I give back to what got me started in healthcare. I am honored to be a team lead at Sickle Cell 101, the largest global digital patient org. that leads education, research, and advocacy for sickle cell disease and sickle cell trait. I co created and launched Sickle Cell Studies (www.sicklecellstudies.com),the first global patient-driven platform that provides evidence-based information and resources on research, all written in patient friendly language to help build trust and prioritize the patient voice throughout all phases of the research process.No One Behind Foundation helps me stay connected to my roots. As the founder, my mission is to empower every patient to live a life determined by their dreams and not their disease. We provide free life saving medicines, essential aid and health literacy resources to individuals impacted by sickle cell in underserved communities in Africa. The foundation supports genotype awareness and partners with local non-profits on aligned healthcare initiatives in the communities we serve with our ultimate goal to make healthcare accessible to all, leaving No One Behind.I love listening to inspirational stories/books (check out "Think Again" by Adam Grant if you haven’t already), coaching and playing soccer in my free time; I have worked as a coach with the New York Red Bulls and the Boise FC UPSL teams.…….PS:👉🏾Boxes are for gifts and packages, not PEOPLE, so don’t let anyone try to fit you in a “BOX”.👉🏾Don’t waste your time trying to fix ALL the problems of the world.
