Today, Stephen is regarded as a proven strategist, value-driven change agent, and thought leader in technology development.Stephen was recruited into CA Technologies in 2005 to assist with the company’s operational turnaround. As Director, R&D Operations Strategy, he virtualized software development, engineered a consistent product development process across 5,000 developers, and co-founded the Council of Technical Excellence – a forum for the company’s most forward-thinking technologists to navigate software strategy for the company.Stephen’s successes spotlighted him as someone who could drive change with a “business value first” mindset – just the kind of thinking that made him a natural to take on the emerging Sustainability space for the company. In 2007, he was appointed CA's Chief Sustainability Officer.Previously, as a Software Strategist at IBM, Stephen steered IBM into the forefront of the rich media marketplace and led large-scale global outsourcing initiatives in both Latvia and India.In addition, Stephen is an influential industry spokesperson, published author, speaker, and thought leader. He has developed and filed over 50 patents in a wide array of technology areas. He currently serves his town as Chairman of the Inland Wetlands Commission.
